Telephone interpreting option:

One of our fastest growing services that is being used by more of our clients than ever before. A flexible service that fits around you and can be set up within a few minutes. Our coordinators will take a few simple details such as names and telephone numbers and then set up a conference call.

The coordinator will then call you and the person that you wish to speak to, with a professional interpreter on the telephone line ready to start interpreting. This service is ideal for meetings in the UK and abroad and can prove to be very economical in comparison to face to face interpreting.

 
 

Ad-hoc interpreting

In the UK we have also gained a leading position as a supplier of professional interpreting services to public sector bodies, financiers and legal firms. Ad-hoc interpreting in less formal situations such as a meeting between a small group, a hospital visit or an appointment with your solicitor.

Consecutive interpreting

Absolute Translations offers a huge wealth of experience in this method of interpreting, a common technique used in small conferences or group discussions. Consecutive interpreting is whereby the interpreter only starts to interpret after each sentence or once a small speech is given, allowing the speech to flow more fluently.

Simultaneous conference interpreting

Our project management services drive the whole process, taking care of everything from the professional interpreting team to the technical sound equipment, booths and technician.

A team of two interpreters work closely together. Sitting in a booth, they listen to the speaker and simultaneously interpret what is being spoken to their target language audience.

With a proven track record in providing these services to public sector bodies, financiers, market research, medical and technical organisations, we will provide you with a complete service including the sound equipment and a technician present throughout the event.
