Meet Paulinda a Belarusian translation specialist
There are about 7.5 million speakers in Belarus, whose language is closely related to Russian and Ukrainian. In fact, most Belarusians are bilingual in Belarusian and Russian. Paulinda is originally from Minsk where, following her doctoral studies, she started work as an academic, taking up post-doctoral studies in New Zealand and New York. This was all before she commenced as a part-time Belarusian translator. Paulinda frequently visits London for both business and pleasure, and one day she hopes to live here so that she can enjoy the multicultural diversity it has to offer. When she is not working hard, Paulinda enjoys the theatre and classical music most.

There are two main dialects of Belarusian spoken in the northeast and the southwest of the country.
