Translation Project Manager Positions

To support its continuous growth, Absolute Translations is currently looking for a motivated Translation Project Manager (working remotely from home), to assist in managing a varied selection of translation projects in a diverse range of subjects and languages.

This opportunity has plenty of scope for the right candidate to grow as the business continues to expand.

Responsibilities

Coordinate translation projects throughout all the phases of the customer cycle, from customer enquiry to final project delivery

Analyse the customers’ documents and assign them to the most suitable supplier

Monitor and control project status by updating project management software

Perform quality checks at various stages of the process to ensure quality and accuracy

Negotiate deadlines and rates with existing and new suppliers

Manage project timelines and ensure on-time delivery

Manage project finances, including budgeting and finalise the project for invoicing

Train and mentor junior members of the team

Create and update translation memories and termbases

This role will suit a hardworking individual with a positive “can-do” approach, to assist us in delivering a high quality, customer-oriented service.

Translation Project Manager Role

As a Project Manager, you will be working in the operations team throughout the customer cycle and in various stages of the translation process. To become a part of our fast-growing team, please submit your Translation Project Manager application using the form below. Working with freelance linguists and national and international customers, we offer both entry-level positions for someone wishing to start a career in the translation industry as well as senior roles for experienced applicants. Your primary role will be to co-ordinate and manage all aspects of translation projects including receiving customer requirements, delivery schedules, quotations, and liaising with our freelance translators.
