Education Translation Services
All education translations share one common goal: to enable learning by correctly interpreting the true meaning of the original text. A good education translation is more than a faithful rendition of the original: it has the power to inspire, and uses both culturally relevant idiom and subject-specific terminology to achieve student engagement and retention. Poor translations—such as an incorrectly paraphrased section of a medical textbook or an inaccurately worded exam question—can have potentially catastrophic physical, psychological, legal, and financial consequences for learners, teachers, and institutions. The existence of convoluted language, and often language that carries more than one potential meaning for translation—such as ‘further education’ or the ‘organised leisure-time occupations’ referred to in subsection 3b of the Education Act 1996—requires not only a high level of linguistic skill but a wealth of technical expertise. Our translators are acknowledged subject experts with a minimum of five years’ experience in their field. We are honoured to have worked with some of the most respected education providers in the world, including University of London, Cambridge University and Oxford University, providing top-grade material for prospectuses, brochures, E-learning tools, university websites, research materials, subject translations, academic papers, reports, and textbooks.
