Multilingual Design – DTP

We have experience with right-to-left text, such as that of Arabic, and can advise you on the top methods, and how to achieve the best Desktop Publishing results. In the past, Chinese characters were written vertically. Today most Chinese documents are typeset from left to right, the same as Western languages. However, Chinese typesetting still presents more challenges than typesetting in European languages due to font variances and different amounts of space required. We are very experienced in Chinese typesetting, Japanese typesetting, and Korean typesetting, which gives us a competitive edge, in terms of quality, reliability, and cost. We are happy to provide PDF proofs at any point during the project for viewing on a standard PC or MAC without the need for specialist software or DTP knowledge.
