AI voice-over turns your script or video into a natural-sounding voice-over in one or more languages, translated and finished by a human linguist. AI voice-over, also searched as AI voiceover or AI voice over, is a fast way to create multilingual video dubbing from your existing video or script. For most business videos, AI voice-over and AI dubbing mean the same practical outcome: your existing video or script is translated and voiced in another language. If you also need lip-sync or an AI avatar, those options are quoted separately. This is AI voice-over for videos and scripts, translated and human-finished — not a live AI phone agent, and not raw, self-service text-to-speech.

AI voice-over pricing has two parts: a project setup fee, and a per-file rate based on length.

The setup fee is charged once per project and covers setup, admin and preparing your files for processing. Each file in your project is then priced on its own duration — a five-minute file and a ten-minute file are each charged on their own length, and minutes from different files are not combined into one total.

Translation is included in this rate. There is no separate translation or post-editing charge, because the AI produces the translated script and a professional human linguist checks and finishes it as part of the same price.

Every AI voice-over price includes:

Translation into your target language. The AI produces the translated script and a professional human linguist post-edits it, so there is no separate translation or MTPE charge.

A human linguist finishing your project. A linguist checks pronunciation, enunciation, pacing and how the voice-over aligns with your visuals and timing, so the result sounds as if it were originally produced in the target language rather than left as raw AI output.

A choice of professional AI voices across more than 200 languages, with the option to approve voice samples before your project is finished. You can also add, quoted individually alongside your core rate:

AI avatars, if you want a presenter-style video rather than voice-over alone.

Voice cloning, recreating a voice from a short, clean sample of the original speaker. Voice cloning is only available where the necessary rights, permissions and consent are in place for the voice sample supplied.

Lip-sync, so mouth movements match the new language.

Subtitle (.srt) files in your target languages, and bilingual script exports, delivered alongside your voice-over. Burn-in (subtitles hard-coded into the video) is quoted separately.

If you don't yet have audio or video — just a script — we estimate duration at 100 words per minute to calculate your quote. So a script of around 1,000 words is treated as roughly 10 minutes for pricing purposes. That estimated length is then priced the same way as a video: the £100 setup fee plus £15 for the first minute and £5 for each additional minute, plus VAT. The same per-file rule applies if you have several scripts — each is estimated and priced on its own length, rather than combined with the others.

The core rate is fixed — the £100 setup fee plus the per-file minute rate — so most of what changes between projects is scope and optional extras rather than the underlying pricing structure. Factors that affect your total include:

number of files you send, and the length of each one.
The number of target languages.
Whether you supply a finished video or a script only.
The voice you choose, and whether you want to approve samples before we finish the project.

Human voice-over is genuinely priced per project rather than at a fixed rate, because cost depends on where and how long the audio will be used — for example, a video for internal training is priced differently to a public advert. In practice, it is normally quoted as a studio or recording fee plus a usage fee. AI voice-over is the fast, fixed-price option for most multilingual video and script projects; human voice-over is the premium option for broadcast and brand work where a studio recording is preferred.
