A certified affidavit translation is an official translation of a sworn written statement, an affidavit being a statement of facts sworn to be true and used as evidence in a court case or other legal proceeding, accompanied by our signed statement confirming the translation is a true and accurate rendering of the original. Every certified affidavit translation includes the translation itself, a signed and dated statement of accuracy on our letterhead, and our official company stamp, which is what a court or authority relies on to accept it. Because a court reads a translated affidavit as evidence, the structure has to match the original precisely, not just the meaning. We reproduce the jurat, the clause recording that the statement was sworn before a solicitor or commissioner for oaths, together with the deponent's details, the date and place, and every exhibit reference and its marking, keeping the paragraph numbering and layout so the translated affidavit lines up with the original the court holds.
