We are unable to make a declaration for certification on any translation that we have not carried out ourselves. Therefore, before we can certify the translation we would need to re-translate the document. If however the original document is already in the required language and you only need the service of a Solicitor or Notary Public, please contact us and discuss your requirements directly.

However, this may vary depending on the number of documents and their complexity. British documents being used for business or personal use overseas may need to be legalised or contain an Apostille (stamp of authenticity) before they can be officially recognised and accepted. The Foreign & Commonwealth Office legalisation or Apostille guarantees that the translated document is genuine. The term ‘Apostille’ is also commonly used in English to refer to the legalisation of a document for international use. Currently, most documents from the United Kingdom can be legalised, providing they bear the original signature, stamp or seal of an official UK public body.
